Historic bed and breakfast inn located in Old Town Key West

Welcome to the Blue Parrot Inn. Shhh… If you listen, you’ll hear… well, not too much. And that’s the idea. Perhaps you’ll hear the beautiful sound of leaves rustling in the breeze: a nice feature considering the Parrot is in the heart of historic Old Town Key West and walking distance to famed Duval Street. Originally built in 1884 by a prominent Key West mayor, the Parrot has a rich history. Today, it is a white, Conch house retreat wrapped in porches perfectly suited for afternoon reading.
The Blue Parrot is located just one block off Truman Avenue (U.S. 1) on quiet Elizabeth Street. Each room tells a different story of the home’s history and reflects the island’s style of building. At our Key West inn, on-street parking is free, and once you park your car, you can put those keys away since you are within walking distance to restaurants, bars and attractions. We can also arrange bicycle delivery so you can experience the sights of the island by bike.

In the Southernmost City, and with an average yearly temperature of 77 degrees, something is blooming year-round. The Blue Parrot is home to many varieties of palms, orchids, bromeliads, exotic plants, and flowering vines. Our Key West guest house grounds are patrolled by lazy cats. And they think they’re the ones on vacation. If the flora and fauna isn’t wild enough for you, surely the Key West nightlife will be. When you return from adventures on land or sea, you’ll know you have a clean, quiet and cozy room waiting for you.
The Blue Parrot is our treasured piece of Key West history, and it can be yours, too. We want you to feel at home. We offer friendly, personalized service and we’re always glad to help. We look forward to meeting you or welcoming you back to the Blue Parrot Inn. We are not a Spring Break facility. All adults welcome (16yrs+). Sorry, no pets.
